Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

The Services are offered under a free tier and paid tiers with defined monthly quotas (analyses, storage, concurrent runs). Current limits and prices are on the Pricing page. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

You agree not to:

• Upload data you do not have the right to process.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape or resell the Services.
• Interfere with the Services, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or run security tests without prior written permission.
• Use the Services to violate any law or third-party right.
• Circumvent quotas, rate limits, or usage restrictions.

You retain ownership of all datasets, phenotypes, analyses, results and metadata you upload or generate ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process and display Customer Data solely to provide the Services. We do not train models on Customer Data and do not share it with third parties except as required to operate the Services or comply with law.

Customer Data is retained for the period stated in your plan (default: 20 days after upload). You may delete your data at any time from the platform. Backups may persist for up to 30 additional days for disaster recovery before being purged.

The Services, including the software, models, documentation, brand and website, are owned by Digital Seed and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no license is granted to you.

Public reference genomes, annotation databases and open scientific tools accessible through the Services are provided under their respective licenses. You are responsible for complying with those licenses when using or redistributing derived results.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Analytical results are provided for research use and should be independently validated before use in commercial breeding decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Seed will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or use. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if you are on the free tier.

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services. On termination, access ceases and Customer Data is deleted according to the retention rules above.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the platform and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Digital Seed is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless a mandatory local law provides otherwise.
